Anthony Acock

Anthony Acock is deeply committed to the principle that effective graphic design can help non-profit organizations have a bigger impact on their communities. As a freelance art director, he focuses on the nonprofit sector and students in recent classes have completed projects for Projects Sister, a rape crisis and family planning center in Pomona; the Undocumented Student Services Center which focuses on DACA recipients at Cal Poly Pomona, and the Inland Valley Down Syndrome Association. He has served on the Board of Directors for AIGA Los Angeles as an Education Director, and is on the Ambassador Board of the Innovation Center of Design Excellence. He has also served on the Board of Directors for AIGA Connecticut and AIGA Kansas City. Acock writes regularly on the subjects of empathy, interdisciplinary collaborations, graffiti, disability advocacy, and punk culture.
