Ruth Guthrie

After more than a decade as a software engineer, Ruth Guthrie moved to academia where her research has focused on telecommuting, the virtual workspace, open education resources, web technologies and women in IT careers. As interim associate dean for the College of Business since 2016, her work has included a leadership role in the college’s student success initiatives and strategic planning.
