Portrait of Dr. Sandeep Krishnamurthy, Dean of College of Business Administration and the Singelyn Graduate School of Business

Sandeep Krishnamurthy joined Cal Poly Pomona in 2023 as the inaugural Singelyn Family Dean of the College of Business Administration and the Singelyn Graduate School of Business after more than two decades at the University of Washington, where he served as the founding dean of UW Bothell School of Business.


Krishnamurthy applies his scholarship in AI, digital transformation and marketing to build deep industry partnerships and advance academic programs.
He is a seasoned academic and leader specializing in interactive and digital marketing, including mobile, social media, open-source business models, and big data applications in marketing and strategy. His research spans game theory in corporate competition and collaboration, technology innovation ecosystems — notably AI, open-source software, and interactive marketing.

 

In 2025, Krishnamurthy was named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “LA500” list of “the most influential people in L.A. 2025.”
